Make the product appeal is important to a successful advertising. But there will always be products that can't be used by everyone.

In 1972, a marketing team seemed to be believed that they could play on the emotions that even if you don’t have hair, you can use this hair dryer. They decided to use a bald model in their ads for the new Flip ‘N Style hairdryer because they thought bald people would get one just because it's "fun to have.

This ad by Panasonic was a brutal failure.
